Whiskeytown Lake

 I met a new friend on this trip who came home with me. Meet Smokey Bear!

I found him in the gift shop at Whiskeytown Lake.

I had visited this place many years ago to hike up to the waterfall.

It's always such a pleasure to look out at the view.

What a refreshing trip this has been with all of the nature.

I'm so appreciative of these places. I love the water, mountains, trees, and blue skies.

You can spend a whole day here hiking, having a picnic, doing some nature photography, or you can just stretch your legs during a long trip.

Time to get back on the road.

Look at that.

Driving through the Trinity Alps, and to Interstate 5 is a beauty to behold.
