New Moon

I went to the midnight show of Twilight New Moon. It was better than the first movie, mostly because there was much less Edward.

Star Wars in Concert

I was really excited to see Star Wars Live in Concert! It was a great show, the symphony played the music and scenes from the movies played on screens. It was a lot of fun! In the concourse there were props and posters from the movies. I would love to see this event again!

Random

Smokey Bear was at the mall. I think he was there educating children about fire safety. I am glad that my forest friends have a spokesbear to keep them safe.

Live to Party!

There was a Jonas Brothers event at Build-A-Bear Workshop. They had a Jonas dog and some outfits. I wanted to stop in to get myself some Jonas Brothers shirts and maybe a guitar. It was a fun event and I did get myself a few new things.

Candy!

Powell's Sweet Shoppe is a chain of candy stores around the Bay Area. They have any candy you want. Old fashioned, imported, holiday, sugar free, low fat, vegan, gluten free, and any other kind of dietary restriction. They have rare sodas and some locations have a gelato counter. They are all themed with giant props of popular candies, and they all have Willy Wonka playing on a loop. I like to get British candy here, and a regional favorite: pink popcorn.

Disneyland Fun

This summer's Disneyland trip was a good one. They usually are. I was able to meet Tinker Bell this time! She really is nice in person, even though on screen she seems a bit... well, not nice. I got to see Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater, too! And I ate some delicious treats and got to ride on my favorite rides. Here are some highlights. Enjoy!

On the Road Again

I made my usual stop at Casa de Fruta before heading to I5. I looked in the candy store for some sweets for the drive. Lollipops are very attractive but that's where my desire stops. I do like looking at them, but I don't usually eat them.

Gilroy

This is Gilroy Gardens, formerly Bonfante Gardens. It's tucked away in Gilroy. They have rides and it is very scenic. One of my favorite snacks is served there: garlic fries. Gilroy is famous for its garlic so they put it on everything!
