National Champagne Day

 December 31st is New Year's Eve. It is also National Champagne Day. This makes sense, as many people toast the new year with the celebratory drink.

It is also a very popular day for sharing a kiss. A midnight kiss is said to bring good luck in the new year.

Some people celebrated the new year of 2022. I was glad the past year was ending.

Winter Fest is a fun event. There are special foods, desserts, performances, and the whole park is decorated. They continue to entertain even past Christmas. At the entrance is an ice skating rink. One of these days, I will skate there!
