Not quite ready to settle back in the room, we took a drive to the Samoa Dunes.
We had a nice drive through Eureka, across the bridge, and ended up on the dunes.
The wind was fierce and it was cold, but we wanted to at least see the area.
This place is probably a great place for a day trip in late spring. People had their dirt bikes and were flying off the dunes. Would I dare try that?
The chill became intense, so we headed back to our room. We had to prepare for our next day of travel.
