Love is a Many Splendored Tea

 Yes, I did it right. A splendored tea.

I attended a virtual wedding reception where the lovely couple hosted a tea tasting. This is a unique and brilliant idea, and I was very happy to be there.

First, I sent my RSVP. Then I received a package in the mail containing everything I needed to participate.

The package included tea leaves, tea bags, cookies, chocolates, and instructions.

At the time of the reception, we joined the online link to follow the tea master.

They provided enough tea for two humans and a teddy to sample the teas. And there is enough left over to brew more!

Included were delicious cookies. I would love to get more of these!

There was an included info guide that talked about the teas. They sure know how to host a great time.

Hosting an online reception is brilliant for those who may prefer to hibernate in their dens. But we can still get dressed up and wish the happy couple a great life.

Good cookies, delicious tea, and yummy chocolates. Have you ever tasted banana bread flavor tea? 10/10 would recommend.

Should I ever have such an event, I would either do a coffee tasting or a wine tasting. Either way, chocolate would be involved!

Do You Want to Build a Snowman

 Something we don't see a lot of in our area of California is snow. We can see it on our mountains, but it doesn't cover as much area or last this long.

Due to having many atmospheric rivers and unusual cold this winter, we did see snow. And when it is too cold to go out, we stay in with games and movies.

Mr Duffy and I played a game of Scrabble.

And we snacked on cheese.

Yahtzee!

The California Platter

 I picked up my finished project from Petroglyph. After I painted it, they glazed it. Then I filled it with charcuterie and had some wine.

It serves a purpose!

Brunch, Books, and Bears

 

I went for a brunch of crepes, since I was up and ready to go.
 

There are many options at the Crepevine. I did get a soy chorizo breakfast burrito.

I started with a soy latte.

Look at that platter! Delicious!

And it was served with potatoes and salad. I love veggies at breakfast.

 After filling my belly with good things, I went to Barnes & Noble.

I found a very cute bunny bookmark.

I browsed the cookbooks.

Vegan ice cream?!?

I ended up buying this book all about vegetarian recipes inspired by California road trips.

 And I also found a teddy bear magazine. I have some reading to do!
