Municipal Wharf

I wanted a bowl of clam chowder to round out my day. I went to the wharf for dinner. I saw sea lions splashing around in the water. They usually lounge on the rafters below the wharf, but were quite active at this time.

Most of the sit down restaurants were closed, probably due to off season. But the Dolphin was open and had immediate seating.

I got clam chowder. It was creamy and delicious.

I was seated at the window so I had a view of the water.

Doesn't that look tasty?

I also got some oysters, which I have been doing when I have been at seaside restaurants. These ones were very bland compared to others. They could've used a squirt of lemon. The sauce gave a bit of flavor.

And for dinner I had the seafood pasta. It had salmon, a white fish, shrimp, calamari, scallops, clams, and mussels. It was so good and I will be going back to this restaurant again in the future for more.

Dinner was pleasant, and I needed a walk after to digest. I stopped in the candy shop before getting on the road. I picked up some gummies and a chocolate covered apricot. Good times.

Neptune's Kingdom

Neptune's Kingdom is one of the arcades on the Boardwalk.

Upstairs, where they have pinball, is a museum of the Boardwalk.

Here are some of the things used in the water in the past.

I learned that my birthday is on the anniversary of the Giant Dipper.

I played some pinball machines. That is always fun.

They had a lot of nerdy franchises.

So many fun movies and shows!

They really went with Neptune theme here.

The game I was really here to play was the coin drop game that I first played in Reno. Here they had Willy Wonka as a theme, and I went with that.

I really got sucked in, but it was fun and I am quite skilled at it.

I ended up with over 700 prize tickets and 30 character cards. I still have points left on my play card, and I have two more character cards to collect to have a complete set. I will go back to play!

Pirate Mini Golf, Part Two

Now this part of the course was really exciting. It was black light!

Tharr be treasure!

The balls lit up in this area and that looked awesome.

This is one of those places that I would love to use as inspiration for my house.

Captain Califia!

This was a fun course to play. Unique holes, great decorations, and a fun environment. It is inside of a complex that is nautical themed. I will come back for another round one day.
