Feeling the Spirit

 I met some friends for dinner at Macaroni Grill. 

I ordered penne marinara with spinach, roasted garlic, and mushrooms. I eat a lot of Italian food during the holidays and this put me in that mood. 

They had Christmas decorations throughout the restaurant. I was greeted by this beautiful tree. 

I’m very excited about Christmas! Happy holidays!

Pie Time

I filled myself up with so much bean and vegetable goodness on Thanksgiving that I had to eat my pie on Black Friday!

Tofurky Day!

 I got stuffed on a whole food, plant based Thanksgiving meal.

We had a lentil loaf stuffed with veggies. There was also home made cranberry sauce. It wasn't even shaped like the can!

There was green bean casserole, one of my favorites.

This was the lentil loaf. Full of goodness!

There was also a steamed vegetable medley.

And of course, corn! Can't do without one of my favorite grains.

And everyone's favorite. But is it stuffing or dressing?

Oh, Mr Duffy. You silly turkey. Doing our tribute to remember our favorite Friend, Matthew Perry.

Gotta have some bubbly. We had just about every flavor of sparkling fruit cider we could find! Apple Pomegranate seemed to be the favorite of all the guests.

Grateful for stretchy pants, indeed. I had to eat pie the next day!
