After a morning at the zoo, I felt like staying out and exploring more nature.
The Elk River Trail was right outside of the hotel. It is a beautiful place for a walk, photography, a picnic, or quiet reflection.
There were a lot of marine birds out.
I wonder if they are finding a lot of tasty fish.
It is so beautiful here.
I don't know if I'm more of a coastal/beach bear, or a tree/forest bear. Lucky for me, I get both in Northern California!
When summer hits, I will be ready to get in the water. Just gotta avoid blue whales! I'm sure I would be like a tic-tac to them.
