Disneyland Day 7

Today I wore my Sully costume. It was a warm day so I was feeling a bit warm. Luckily they have Frappuccinos in the Fiddler, Fifer, & Practical Cafe, which is where they serve Starbucks in California Adventure.

King Triton's Carrousel

Mine! Mine!

Oh, it's Sully! My twin! At least for today.

Mike Wazowski!

This Mediterranean dish is sold at the eatery in the Boardwalk area. This one has tofu, veggies, and rice. It is delicious! It's a walk-up window.

Beast's Library

This is inside the Animation building. At this time they were showing art from Monsters, Inc.

Enjoying another water feature

When I got back to my hotel, I thought I would just sleep in this outfit. It's as cozy as pajamas.

Before I went to sleep, I ate this very cute Olaf cake pop. Do you want to eat a snowman?

Disneyland Day 6

Here I am, back at Starbucks for my morning coffee. This old fashioned phone is inside, on the wall. If you pick up the receiver, you can hear a conversation that was typical of over 100 years ago!

I spent some time in Adventureland. This statue is in the Bazaar.

I had to take a ride on the Indiana Jones ride. This is the waiting area that is outside.

The theming here is great, as is the case all over the Disneyland Resort. It really feels like being in the jungle.

This is inside the queue for Indiana Jones.

Yikes!

The ride was uneventful, but when we got to the end, Indiana Jones just hung there on the rope. We waited for a couple of minutes which is way too long for the ride. A voice came on the speaker saying there was a problem and that we would have to wait a few minutes for it to be fixed. We were stuck there for at least twenty minutes. So I was able to sneak a selfie with Indiana hanging there. When they started the ride up again, we got back to the loading area and they offered us a chance to go right through for a second ride. We took it and this ride was uninterrupted.

Whenever I see totems, I get a craving for pineapple.

Disneyland Day 5

I started this day with a breakfast buffet at the Storytellers Cafe. I got to meet some Disney bears like Koda and Kenai, and also Meeko the raccoon. This was the only picture I got from that morning.

After breakfast it was back into Disneyland.

After a few hours in Disneyland, it was back to California Adventure. They had these really tasty vegetarian chili cones at the Cozy Cone Motel.

The area back here is meant to look like a cannery. I think this is modeled after the Monterey area.

Inside Ghirardelli, they sell lots of ice cream. I can't have any because of my milk allergy. But they also sell chocolate and I can have a few different pieces. They give samples each day. I think the one I got was caramel. I don't remember which flavor, but I do remember that it was good.

I think this is inside one of the shops in Cars Land.

This is at Flo's restaurant. Cars Land looks exactly like it did in the movie.

Swim Break

I wanted to take a break from all of the walking and the heat, so I went for a swim at the hotel.

It was a nice way to take a break and relax.

Disneyland Day 4

Today I wore my Jasmine costume. This pretty floral arrangement is in a shop on Main Street, just outside the photo shop.

This is the corn dog cart. I wish they would serve a veggie corn dog. I do like my snacks and that would be a delicious option.

I just can't stay away from the Castle.

Snow White's wishing well

Snow White's Grotto

I took some time to pose for photos around the Castle. If you are wondering where Mr. Duffy is, well who do you think is taking all the pictures?

Is there a person in there?

Whee! Mad Tea Party!

Oh, this door is my size!

This is Monstro at Storybookland. I think they should rename this 'Storybrooke Land' after 'Once Upon a Time'.

Time for a ride on King Arthur's Carousel.

Pinocchio's Daring Journey

Do you want to build a snowman? The line to meet Anna and Elsa was too long. Four hours to meet them! Maybe next time.

Candy! I love candy! I love the way it looks and the way it tastes. But I rarely ever eat lollipops because that would make a sticky mess of my fur.

This lollipop is as big as my head!

When you pose just so, you may end up with antlers.

This is in Frontierland, just outside Westward Ho, where they sell pins.

I wish I could have taken a better picture with this bear wood carving, but there were people in the way. That's okay, I will have more opportunities.

This giraffe is inside of the Bazaar in Adventureland.

After all of that walking around, I needed a snack. I do love the Mickey Mouse pretzels. I order them with light salt. I don't like them plain, but the regular ones have too much salt.
