Happy Easter!

 Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it seems to be centered around candy. I like jelly beans and marshmallow chicks and creme eggs and chocolate bunnies and more!

I especially enjoy the Reese's peanut butter candies. Give me a basket full of those and I'll be happy all day.

Batman vs Superman

 Mr Duffy dressed up as Batman for the movie.

I enjoyed the film. Some would say it is not the best of all the Batman and Superman movies. Maybe they're right, I don't know. All I can say is, it wasn't bad and I had fun.

Treat Yo Self

 The mall was calling so I headed out for a Treat Yo Self day. I start all of my shopping adventures with an iced coffee. I stopped at Starbucks for my first coffee of the day.

 I wanted to add clothes to my wardrobe, so I stopped in at Build-A-Bear Workshop. I picked up some new dresses, shoes, shirts, and pajamas. I do like to be fashionable.

 This bed pillow looked comfy, and would be great to lean against while reading, but I didn't buy it.

 They had a nice variety of fantasy clothes like castles, princesses, and crowns.

 They also had a selection of sweets, but I didn't buy any here. I thought I would save that for later when going to a full candy store.

They had Care Bears, which my human loves, but I know she loves me more than any other bear. They also had these great rainbow clothes and I had to pick up some of them.

 It's Easter time and they had a lot of bunnies and spring themed animals and clothing.

 After I left BABW, I went to the Disney Store. I spent quite a bit of time looking at all the princesses, Marvel, Star Wars, and other fun things they have. And listening to the music makes me happy.

 Oh, look. It's a friend of mine. Oh, no, it's actually just a costume.

Oh but here is a real friend of mine! Fozzy! He told me some jokes and then I told him I would see him later.

The shopping was a success and I had fun looking at all the goodies out there.

Rainy Day!

 I love rainy days. I like the rain, the puddles, the gray skies, and the sound of the drops as they fall.

There is a sidewalk ready for splashing.

 That puddle isn't big enough.

I think we are going to get more rain. Yay!

Weekend in Carmel

 Carmel is one of my favorite places to go for a relaxing weekend. I stayed at the Carmel Mission Inn where I met this lovely cow.

 This rock wall is very soothing. There is water running down the whole thing, and it is nice to sit there and listen to it. But it gets too warm sitting in the sun after a while.

 They have pretty flowers in planters there. These yellow and white ones attracted a few small flying things.

 In the back of the hotel, they have this wall of rocks that bears can climb. I climbed up a few then sat for a break.

 After I climbed down from the rocks, I found this bench. But I didn't sit for long, just long enough to have my picture taken.

 Next to the hotel is a shopping and dining center called The Barnyard. I looked around and didn't find any barn animals. No chickens or pigs or goats or anything like that.

 This was my favorite shop. Of course, because it is a candy store! And they specialize in chocolate. Yummy!

I didn't see barn animals but I did meet this bear. That was strange, but not that much because they were in the candy store, too. Us bears like our sweet treats.

 Okay, even more bears? This is kind of strange. We are on the coast, at a barnyard. Not in the mountains or a bear sanctuary.

After exploring the area, I sat back on the bench and enjoyed taffy and chocolate fudge. Good stuff.

I did some other things this weekend, too, like crafting and relaxing in the hotel and watching movies. Even bears need a vacation.
