Happy Halloween 2022!

Here is Mr Duffy with his favorite type of pumpkin: a Knucklehead. Some varieties are known as warties. He is an interesting bear, who loves all things science, including botanicals.

I had a more typical pumpkin, a Sugar variety. They are good for baking, especially for pies.

We just both love Halloween so much.

This is Halloween. This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween.

Just a handful of our friends ready to party. But I am sure they are just here for the candy.

We love this time of year.

All the CANDY!

Happy Halloween, my lovelies!

Spina Farms, Part Two

Are these gourds edible?

Time to make some pumpkin soup. Or chili. Or pie. Pumpkins. Oh, yeah. Tasty vitamin A.

There is a pumpkin variety called Grizzly Bear. Is it edible? Is it tasty? How did it get its name?

Surrounded by deliciousness.

Are these good for eating or painting? Or... both?

All I am seeing right now is soup.

Beautiful. Beauty. I love flowers.

I wonder if I could build a pyramid like this. That would take many pumpkins.

Teddy sized pumpkins make me very happy.

Um... what?

A train ride is a great way to spend an afternoon.

I love spending a hot fall day at a pumpkin farm. I love Halloween, and am very happy among the oranges and other earth colors.

Spina Farms, Part One

One of my very favorite things to do every year is to visit a pumpkin farm. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I love fall.

Before going to the farm, I stop at Starbucks for their famous Pumpkin Spice Latte. Depending on the weather, I will get either hot or iced. I like it both ways.

I enjoy walking around Spina Farms. They have a variety of pumpkins, plus lots of marigolds and sunflowers.

They also grow corn here, which you can buy at their farm stand. Fresh corn is delicious. You don't even have to cook it.

They have lovely greeters at the farm.

A great decoration. Time to climb on!

If you looks closely, you can see that I am sitting in this enormous chair.

Now this would be a statement on someone's front yard. These inflatables are getting out of control and I am here for it.

They have cute little rides here, so I bought some tickets.

I went on the hayride to look at the fields of flowers and corn, plus the decorations sprinkled throughout.

We were being pulled by this tractor. Such fun!

I love sunflowers.

They have so many fun decorations here. I really get into the Halloween spirit when I visit.
