Casa de Fruta

I wanted to get out for a little and enjoy the sun, and maybe a sweet treat or two. Casa de Fruta, on Hwy 152, is a neat place to visit if you happen to be driving on that route. I went for some sunshine, play time, and sweets.

Morro Bay

My weekend away was spent on California's Central Coast. I visited Morro Bay, went to their Embarcadero, and enjoyed some quiet time, reading.

Apple Farm

In San Luis Obispo, there is a hotel and property called The Apple Farm. They have a great restaurant and nice grounds to walk. There is a mill and they make fresh pressed cider. It is the very best apple cider I have ever tasted. When you go to the mill, you can help yourself to complimentary fresh popped popcorn. They sell a lot of different apple flavored products. If you eat in their restaurant, they have apple cider baked beans. It's a pretty place and is just outside of the busy downtown.
