A Day in San Francisco

A member of my family was celebrating a birthday. (Actually, two members share a birthday!!!) And this person wanted to visit the Castro District in San Francisco.

We went to their famous cookie shop at the top of the busy section of the street. They have some very funny and amusing shapes of cookies, and names for them.
Oh, myyy...

The name of the shop is Hot Cookie and I think it is a good name.

This is the famous Castro Theater where they host classic movies and sing-alongs.

I love that there are so many rainbows here.

This is Harvey Milk's apartment. It used to be a storefront for the Human Rights Campaign, but it has closed.

It was a nice getaway for a few hours. Definitely hit up the bakery if you visit. Just brace yourself because some of the cookies may catch you by surprise!
