Countdown to 2020

I'm not much of a party bear, so I planned a quiet night in with Mr Duffy to welcome in the new year.

We shared a glass of champagne and waited for midnight.

I wore the new sparkly dress and matching shows that I got for Christmas.

I made a lot of good treats for our celebration.

So much delicious food.

I made pinwheels with cream cheese and deli slices.

 And then cheese and crackers.

I also cooked up some raviolis to eat as finger food.

We had vegetable pot stickers and meatballs.

And the thing I tend to make for most of my events, deviled eggs.

And of course I had an assortment of cookies.

I think 2020 is going to be a delicious year.

Goodbye, 2019. You were a terrific year with amazing experiences, memorable moments, fabulous vacations, and wonderful ordinary days. And I know 2020 will also be fantastic.

Three... two... one... Happy New Year!

Another Winterfest Visit

I went back to Great America to see things I missed on Saturday.

I wanted to visit my giant teddy friend again.

And look who I found greeting people in Tinsel Town? Mr Tennenbaum, again!

He put his hat on me, that was funny.

Check out my shirt, I love that it lights up. It would be fun if they had more light up shirts, like fireworks for New Year's Eve and some other occasions.

They use the mirror trick on this tree, they hang gig mirrors as ornaments and that makes the lights shine brighter. The tree looks like there are more lights than there are. A great energy saver.

What is this silly mayor doing?

This tree freaked me out a bit because I thought it was going to move, and maybe eat me or take me away.

This is Ruby the Reindeer. She is very quiet and is great at staying still for photos.

Here are some of Ruby's friends.

 Pretty decorations.

I'm glad these aren't weeping angels.

Here are more of those silly penguins.

And here I am, back in London Town. I love this street lamp.

I stopped by to say hello to my polar bear friends.

 It's a candy cane tree.

And here is Charlie Brown's tree.

I explored a bit more of the Peanuts area this time.

 So many Snoopy friends!

Here is a Snoopy with a Woodstock made out of plastic construction bricks.

I like the red tree with the green ornaments. But I still prefer green trees with red ornaments.

Lollis as big as my head!

I was happy to be able to go to Winterfest one more time. I got to see a lot that I missed, and I know there is more to see. I am looking forward to next year.
