Headin Out West for Gold

 You know the drill. Stop at Starbucks or another coffee place on our way out.

We stopped in Auburn to visit their California Welcome Center. I bought a California jigsaw puzzle and a glass mug.

I also picked up more brochures for my collection.

Then it was on to Grass Valley, where we stayed at the Gold Miner's Inn.
We had a nice big bed again.

A microwave and a fridge! Always convenient.

The hotel was part of the old town section. There was a Safeway grocery store that we could see from our window. This was very convenient for getting snacks for the room. And it was a good home base as we went exploring Gold Country.
