Morro Bay

After a quick drive, we arrived in Morro Bay. It was cloudy and we didn't have full view of the giant rock, but we could still see it.

There are some statues and fun places for photos and selfies along the embarcadero.

This was a neat bench, from an old car.

I loved the colors and textures of these flowers and plants growing.

I wonder if they need to be watered regularly, or if they thrive on the moist ocean air. I am very interested in having a big garden with foliage that doesn't require a lot of water. In California, it is important to have drought-resistant plants.

We came upon an otter nursery and saw some otters resting. They were very cute.

There is Morro Rock.
This is as close as we got, so you can't really see just how big it is.

Maybe one day we will get up for a closer look. I definitely want to go back because there are a lot of fun things happening on the water.

After walking around and sightseeing, it was time for lunch.
