After more than a year of sheltering in place, it was time to get out for an adventure.
It had been more than one year since I last traveled. Before hitting the road, I checked all of the health guidelines, looked up all of the rules, and researched where I’d be visiting to see how safe things were locally.
California’s guidelines state to not travel more than 150 miles from home. Going to the coast fit the requirements. So Duffy, the baby, and I put on our masks and hit the road.
We got our traditional Starbucks drinks for the drive and made our way to Monterey Bay.
