Extended Stay: An Honest Review

I checked into the Extended Stay America. 🧸🧸½

The room was standard with a king sized bed and decent space.

It had a desk, television, workspace, closet space, air/heat, the usuals.

It also had a small kitchen. I knocked them a teddy because this was not stocked with any supplies. All dishes, bowls, utensils, cookware, wash towels, dish rack, and soap needed to be requested. This is the first time I have experienced a hotel in-room kitchen where these items were not supplied. They didn't even have a coffee maker.

They had two burners which took a while to warm up. The refrigerator was great and there was a lot of counter space and cabinet space.

Another unusual thing was there was no shampoo provided. It had to be requested at the front desk. Their elevator was out of service, which leads me to knocking off another teddy. It wasn't because of the elevator; it was the hotel desk rep, who begrudgingly had to walk us to the back of the property to show us how to get to the second floor using our mobility device. On the way there, she wanted to make a shortcut and asked the human if she could use the stairs. Um, no? The rep then went on to say something so inappropriate and judgemental. She told the human "you just need to eat right and exercise." Meaning, that is a cure for a handicap? Meaning, she knows exactly what my human's history is and she has the answers? Because of this treatment, we will not stay at this property again. Santa Rosa is a major city and there are many hotels and other lodging options.
