Wedding Fun

I attended a wedding of friends of my humans. It was at an intimate winery with a restaurant in front and a party room in the back.

There were balloons all over the floor and it was play time. People danced, and they would also toss and throw the balloons around. It was fun to see that.

One of the cakes they had was this pretty swirl cake.
There were nice little candles on the tables for mood lighting.
We all got favor bags that had candy and some nice smelling pockets that we could use to make our clothes smell nice.

The wedding had pretty decorations and good food. I liked getting really dressed up, the sparkles and frills were a nice change from my usual casual wardrobe.

A belly full of cheesy potatoes and a couple of glasses of champagne means it is bed time.

Made It to Oregon!

After many more hours of driving, we made it to Eugene in Oregon.

As I always do, I took photos of the room before I unpacked my stuff and messed it up.
They had a spacious desk with lots of outlets, but I wasn't here to work.
This was a side table of the desk where you could keep more stuff.
I had a giant king sized bed, perfect for spreading out like a starfish.

I should remove my boots.
There was a mini fridge and an even mini-er coffee maker.
They even had a microwave so I could heat up some snacks.
The bathroom was very spacious and modern.
The shower was big enough for three or four humans. So big! And the included shampoo smelled of tea tree, it was so refreshing.
We had a view of the Willamette River. I really wanted to go there to take a walk and maybe catch a fish.
It was so pretty, it reminded me of being in the forest.

After settling in, I ordered a calzone for delivery. It was super tasty.
After my dinner and watching a Netflix movie, it was time to sleep. All that travel is tiring.

Trees, Gift Shop, and Museum

I always imagine the back side of these animals.
This one can stay where it is.

In addition to the gift shop that goes on forever, when you get to the end of the main one, there is a museum with even more rooms.
Smokey Bear is still a mascot for fire prevention.
This looks more like an old man than a Bigfoot.
Now this one looks like a Bigfoot.
Why so serious?
They had a fudge counter in the shop. We sampled a couple of pieces and then munched on some in the shop. Yummy! I like chocolate with walnuts.

Apparently, Paul Bunyan had a girlfriend. Good for him.

There's FlapJack again!

These people really were little. Ted sized!

This was a really fun place to visit. If you are in Humboldt County, driving along 101 and pass through Klamath, this place is worth a stop. It can take as little as two hours, or as much as all day to explore. There is a coffee shop across the highway, but we didn't stop in so I don't have a review. Try to get here on a sunny day so you can see all the land from the top of the mountain.

After the day of exploring, we got in the car to make it to our ultimate destination: Oregon.
