National Coloring Book Day

 I brought some coloring books and pencils to use on the plane. I also bought a couple of coloring books from the bookstore.

Pool Day

 This was the private pool at the property where we were staying. All the trees and plants made this seem like paradise. The water was warm and it was so relaxing.

 There was a waterfall at the rock and listening to it was very grounding.

 Mr Duffy and I were ready to hit the water.

 We found this airplane and floated around the water for hours.

 We just had to make sure that we didn't go right underneath the waterfall. We would have been okay getting a little wet, but we didn't want to get drenched!

 We did get a bit splashed so when we were ready to get out of the pool, we dried off on this lounge chair.

 We had such an enjoyable, relaxing day swimming.

I hope we get more pool days!

Book Revue

 Bookstores are a favorite place of mine. I hadn't been to one in a while and was due for a visit. I heard that The Book Revue was the best independent bookstore on Long Island.

 Before I started shopping, I got an iced mocha from the cafe.

 They have puzzles, games, and activity kits.

 I thought this book looked interesting, since I am a Disney fan, I enjoy crafts, and I like lip balm, this book stood out.

 I also tend to find a lot of bear books in bookstores.

 That is Teddy Roosevelt, who is said to have been the inspiration for the invention of the teddy bear.

I bought three books and took them back to the house to look through them. This was certainly the highlight of the day. It is a giant book shop and if you are in the Huntington area, you should check it out.
