Disneyland Day 1

It's that time of year again when I go on my annual trip to Disneyland. I got up early so I could make the long drive to Anaheim.

But first, coffee.

The drive was uneventful and I made good time. I checked into my hotel and walked the path from the property to the parks.

I started my day in California Adventure. Daisy was at the end of Buena Vista Street meeting guests.

I had my bunny friend Vita with me. We sat at the fountain because we love water features.

This is the mountain where you can ride Grizzly River Run.

We headed off to Paradise Pier. We went on Mickey's Fun Wheel and went in the swinging gondolas.

It was dinner time so we went to Taste Pilot's Grill for veggie burgers and onion rings.

It was a long day and we went to our hotel. When we got in our room, there were these gift baskets waiting for us. We settled in to sleep so we could wake up refreshed to go to Disneyland bright and early the next day.

Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman. What a great movie this was! The acting was great, the scenery was awesome, and the story was incredible. It had a good bit of humor in it, too. I can't wait for the DVD!

A Quick Trip to Big Sur

Sometimes you have one of those days when things aren't going well, you are not feeling happy, or it seems like the world is a bad place. Today was one of those days.

I got in my car and felt like driving along the coast. The water, or more specifically, the bay or ocean, make me feel better. I drove south along Highway 1 until I ended up in Big Sur.

I had never been here before. I only explored the very front of the park, but it looked like a place I would love to further explore one day. I love camping and I love being outdoors, and I love trees. Of course, I am a California bear so all of those things are appealing to me.

I love redwood trees, and sequoia trees, and any other ones that grow big and strong and old.

 More places to explore.

There was a creek and I didn't want to get too close on this day. But maybe I will return and be able to get a closer look.

I like the photos where the bit of sun shines through the trees.

So I didn't see a whole bunch of things. But this is a big park and they have camping there. Maybe one day I will go. And get to bring my camping things and use my tent and special camping supplies.
