Our Big Disneyland Vacation

 We got our car all packed up and ready to go. Shellie May was there to say bye to us and told us to have a great vacation. She also put in a request for dark chocolate non pareils.

 Once we got settled in, we walked to Downtown Disney to go to Marceline's. That is where we bought the chocolate for Shellie May.

 After that, we went into California Adventure for some dinner. I got a veggie burger from Taste Pilot's Grill. I like the toppings bar here.

 We had a very light evening because we were going to really "start" our vacation the next day.

 We were on a long drive and walked around a bit. We wanted to get to our hotel to rest up for our first day in Disneyland.

Mickey was there to greet us. Whenever I check into a hotel at Disneyland, I always feel like I've gone home.

On the Road Again

 It's that time of year again! I packed my bags, got in my car, and headed south. It is Disneyland time! On the drive, I needed to stop to eat. And there is a new Black Bear Diner in Lebec so that is where I stopped.

 This location is similar to the others in the menus are mostly the same, and they have lots of carved bears inside and out of the restaurant. What's nice about this one is they have outlets at all of the booths so people can charge their devices.

It wasn't even the middle of the day and I could feel the heat getting hotter. I paid for my early lunch and got in my car and headed straight for Anaheim.

On the Way to Lincoln

 Since I have family in Lincoln, I do visit there at least a few times a year. It's about a three hour drive away.

 I buckled into my car seat and got ready for the drive.

 I stopped at Joann's craft store because it was on the way.

 I needed to pick up yarn because I was knitting a scarf for someone.

 After I bought my supplies, I finished my drive.

 I met with the family and they took me out for sushi.

 My dinner came with soup and salad.

 I got vegetable tempura with rice.

 And this giant sushi roll.

This is a nice fountain outside of the sushi restaurant.

I headed out and settled in for the night. I had picked up some Califia Coffee to have during my visit.

Time to get some rest!
