Happy Independence Day!
Mr Duffy and I are ready to cel-e-bear-ate!
Of course we had apple pie.
Patriotic cupcakes.
Fresh fruits were part of our celebration. We enjoyed crunchy, juicy grapes and sweet cherries.
Red, white, and blue M&Ms were a necessary part of our spread.
And the highlight of our night: shrimp boil. It was SO GOOD!!!
It was fairly standard with andouille sausage, red potatoes, whole corn on the cob, and shrimp. The secret to the amazing flavor was melted butter and heaping mounds of Old Bay seasoning.
I liked the spread, all of it.
Mr Duffy was going head first into the pile. Happy 4th!!!
