In my neck of the woods, we are experiencing a heatwave.
It's a day to not turn on the oven. So, a spread of meats and cheeses and snacks is in order.
A soda cake is a welcome dessert in the summer.
Chips!!! And dip.
I made bellinis. I put frozen peaches in a big wine glass, covered them with peach juice, then topped with California champagne.
This is another way to feel cool on a summer's day, just remember to hydrate with water!
