Christmas in the Park, Part 1

Christmas? Wait, it's January! Yes, it is. But some holiday events last into the new year. Maybe so more people can enjoy them?

Christmas in the Park is an event that takes place in San Jose every year during the holidays, usually from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day.

It is a community event where local families, organizations, and businesses can sponsor or decorate a tree.

They have vignettes, animatronics, and even rides.

This year's theme involved bears. I was very excited!

Here are some Build-A-Bears who are ice skating, as Build-A-Bear reindeer look on.

And these Build-A-Bear teddies are playing ice hockey.

There is a teddy on top of the tree.

This is the giant teddy that greets people as they enter the event.

A choo-choo that people can ride.

A vendor was selling kettle corn. They were selling a special Christmas bag which was just red and green. It could have tasted like peppermint. It's okay that it didn't, it was still delicious.

They had a small build-a-teddy display that was so exciting to see. I didn't know they had this display, and it made me very happy.

Another teddy!
