Bridges, Bays, and... Buffalo?

After exploring the Academy of Sciences, Mr Duffy and I wanted to get on the Golden Gate Bridge. We parked in the lot and took in the beauty of the San Francisco Bay.

This is also probably the most famous bridge in the world. Trivia: Do you know the name of the color they use to paint the bridge?

It gets very windy up here. If you are a traveling teddy, make sure your human has a great grip on you.

There are a few things to see at either parking lot at the bridge, but there is more to do on the San Francisco side than the Marin side.

After we left the bridge, we detoured back through Golden Gate Park. We wanted to visit the Bison Paddock. If someone says to you, "There are no buffalo in Golden Gate Park," they would be correct. There are no buffalo there, but there are bison. To be fair, they are colloquially known as American Buffalo.

There are also many plants and flower to be seen in the park.

Spend a day in San Francisco if you can, just be sure to practice constant vigilance.
