Thor: Love and Thunder

As is my custom, I went to see the latest MCU movie, Thor: Love and Thunder.

It's a fun film. I think it has mixed reviews. I went in not expecting anything, and liked it like any other Thor movie.

If you can't make it to the theater, check it out when it hits Disney+.

Bridges, Bays, and... Buffalo?

After exploring the Academy of Sciences, Mr Duffy and I wanted to get on the Golden Gate Bridge. We parked in the lot and took in the beauty of the San Francisco Bay.

This is also probably the most famous bridge in the world. Trivia: Do you know the name of the color they use to paint the bridge?

It gets very windy up here. If you are a traveling teddy, make sure your human has a great grip on you.

There are a few things to see at either parking lot at the bridge, but there is more to do on the San Francisco side than the Marin side.

After we left the bridge, we detoured back through Golden Gate Park. We wanted to visit the Bison Paddock. If someone says to you, "There are no buffalo in Golden Gate Park," they would be correct. There are no buffalo there, but there are bison. To be fair, they are colloquially known as American Buffalo.

There are also many plants and flower to be seen in the park.

Spend a day in San Francisco if you can, just be sure to practice constant vigilance.

California Academy of Sciences, Part Two

One of the many things California is known for, are the redwood trees that grow in thick forests through the northern part of the state.

Some of these trees predate the historical figure of Jesus. Let that sink in. Some of our trees are older than many of our oldest stories.

I do love trees. So very much. And the wildlife that thrives among them.

And now we are at the underwater region.

It is a very nice aquarium segment. But if you have the time and the means, visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, or the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

I do love fishies.

So tranquil.

After a bit, we took a break in the gift shop.

We then looked at birds, and the classic time keeper.

And now, meet Claude the white alligator.

Claude is an alligator with albinism, and he is spending his days in the swamp area of the museum.

There is also a bridge that walks over a place to see rays.

If you are a science nerd, or just love learning, take a day (or two!) to visit this museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. I might return in the winter to go ice skating!
