May 4th to May 10th is National Postcard Week. I love postcards. I buy them as souvenirs from every place I visit, whether it's a big tourist attraction, or just a plain city. They are very inexpensive and offer great views of the area usually in an angle I couldn't get from my camera.

If you forget to pick up postcards or an area is crowded and you don't want to fight the crowds, there are other places to pick up some postcards: book stores, convenience stores, and drug stores usually offer a good selection. Pick one up today and send it along. You can make someone smile with a nice thought.
