Dia de los Muertos

 This year, I wanted to learn about Dia de los Muertos which is a holiday where some people of Mexican descent and other Latino cultures honor their relatives who are no longer living.

One of the customs is for people to paint their faces to make bad spirits think they are already dead, and this will prevent the spirits from taking the living.

It may seem like a sad celebration, but it is to honor lost loved ones, recall happy memories, and remember the love and good times.
