Creativity and Sushi

Self-care is all the rage these days. This includes arts and crafts. And for that, I went to Petroglyph to create my own work of art.

This is a ceramics place where you pay for studio time, and then pay for the piece you want to paint. You can stay as long as you need to, and they provide the paint and tools for your project.

They have so many options! From statues to ornaments, to functional serving pieces and decorations.

I settled on a plate, because, why not? I could use it as a cheese platter for my wine nights.

 And of course. OF COURSE I themed it to California. We have been voted the best wine in the world and the best cheese in the world. My human has words for those who disagree. I'm not, sure, but I think it involves some very graphic images.

 

After a few hours of creativity, it was time to eat.

We went for sushi.

They served us soba before my tofu came out.

And then it was tome for rice and fishes.

 Ah, a creative outlet and a full belly makes Califia a happy bear.
