The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose is a bizarre, but beautiful place. AMORC itself is not bizarre, but as other have said, seeing an ancient hippo with saggy boobies standing naked in a fountain is not something one sees every day. Unless you live on Park in San Jose.
The gardens are a nice place to explore. There are many sphynx statues and a tranquil Peace Garden.
It is a fun place to explore, the grounds are nice to walk. I would save it for a warmer, sunny day.
