Black Friday

 One of my favorite things to do Thanksgiving Weekend is to eat the yummy leftovers. This is some of my favorite food, but I eat this kind of stuff mostly during the holidays.

 Rather than never finding a parking spot, standing in endless lines, and tiring myself, I do much of my shopping in October and I get stuff online. This way I can spend time at home, relaxing. I took out my Christmas coloring books and colored while playing Christmas music.

 I like candy canes, they are an important part of my decorating.

 Who could this be for?

 My moose and deer buddies were here to play.

 Mmmm, Christmas is a delicious time of year. So much candy. So much chocolate.

I do a lot of dancing, so I don't have to worry about how much chocolate I eat.

Turkey Day

 I woke up this morning and watched the Thanksgiving Parade. I enjoy watching that every year. While that was on, I decorated turkey shaped cookies.

 We had a lot of good appetizers on the table, and candies.

 I snacked while decorating the cookies.

 Mr Duffy joined us for dinner.

 This was a tasty nut and cracker mix. I liked the little crunchies in it.

And we had cheese and crackers, too.

By the time dinner was ready, I was plenty stuffed and didn't get pictures of my dinner. Good thing there are plenty of leftovers!

Thanksgiving Shopping

 

It is one of my most favorite days of the year: when I get to shop for Thanksgiving. I usually shop at both Trader Joe's and Safeway. Most of what I needed was at Safeway, and that is where I went. Plus, they have a Starbucks there. I got an eggnog latte to get me in the holiday mood.

They had their popular Christmas blend. I don't drink a lot of drip coffee, but this stuff is good, so I will drink it on occasion.

They also have a Thanksgiving blend, which I don't remember if I have tried it before.

I saw this little sweater and thought I could wear it. But it was too small because it is meant to cover a wine bottle.

I met this very nice llama there, but didn't bring it home with me. If I live on a big piece of land in a giant house one day, I will be able to have a lot of lovie friends. I am happy where I am for now, though.

I did pick up all of the groceries that I needed. I will get to do it again in a few weeks for Christmas!
