Next Part of the Journey: New York to California

We got up early to make sure we had all of our stuff, and to make sure our bags were packed appropriately. We rode to JFK airport and were lucky that we didn't hit any traffic.

On our way to our terminal, we found this neat looking airplane model.

Mr Duffy and I got an iced coffee to drink while we waited to board.

Our plane parked and was getting prepared for us.

We were allowed to board and we settled in to our seats.

They gave us some wraps with chips and a cookie. Plus they also let us choose from a variety of sodas.

I pulled up my video screen to watch the flight. I was curious about which states we were flying over.

The attendants came around again and gave us cookies, pretzels, and more sodas.

After about six hours, we landed in Los Angeles. We were still on New York time, so even though it was around 3:00 in LA, we were ready for dinner.
We didn't conk out as early as I thought, and it didn't seem like we were jet lagged. Good night!
