A Giant Sandwich and a Mall Trip

One of the many great things about the Atlantis is the variety of eateries they have. They have some grab-and-go coffee and pastry counters, fast food, a buffet, Italian restaurant, a steakhouse, and more.
On this day, I didn't want a whole restaurant experience. So I settled on the Manhattan Deli and I was more than pleased.

We were seated at a both and right away the waitress brought us this bowl of pickled vegetables. They were so tasty! I especially liked the cauliflower.

I ordered the pastrami and corned beef sandwich. This thing was gigantic. I was only able to eat a quarter of it because it was so dense. And so delicious. I was happy to take the leftovers to my room for later.
As you know, potatoes are one of my favorite foods. So of course I had to order the potato latkes.

Brunch was filling and tasted so good. It was time to walk off some of the meaty goodness.
I stopped for a pic near this other fountain in the casino.

I took a drive to Meadowood Mall which was actually just about a mile or so away from my hotel. Very convenient if you are vacationing in the area and forget something.
I didn't forget anything, but I didn't pack a bathing suit for some reason. So I went to get one. I was going to visit this Build-A-Bear anyway, because I like to visit all the ones when I am traveling. Plus I also got my paws-port stamped.

I found a suit, sandals, and a couple other things. The store was near the food court and I saw a place that had blended coffees. Did I stop by for one?
Of course I did! A blended soy mocha with chocolate sauce. It was refreshing. I also stopped in Claire's to get a new friend, Doug the Pug. And I went into the Sweet Factory to buy a big bag of candy to enjoy later.
Then it was back to my hotel for a few hours of swimming and lounging.
There is the rock wall with the waterfall.

This is the ceiling that lets all the sunlight in. And if it is raining or snowing, you can stay dry. But you would be swimming so you'd be getting wet anyway.

I ordered poolside service. I got some peach bellinis and a Havana rum blend cocktail.
I also ordered a jumbo shrimp cocktail. They had five prawns on there to be shared among three of us. They could have put one more on there!

The drinks were tasty and made it feel like vacation.
This is the bag of the fruity candy I bought at the mall.

This gummy shark was almost as long as my arm!
After four cocktails, I needed a bit of a break.
I did get in the water for a swim.

After getting out of the pool, it was dinner time. I went to the buffet but wasn't hungry enough for a lot of food.

But I did get cotton candy!
And cookies.

I was impressed with the bowls of cotton candy. I had never seen that in a buffet before.

After dinner, I went back to my room to rest up. I had another day of fun planned.
