Disneyland, Day 5

The next day was all about relaxing. I did go into the parks, but I also spent a lot of time swimming at the hotel.

I stopped in the candy store on Main Street to pick up some cotton candy to eat by the pool.

The hotel has a bog pool with a waterslide and a hot tub.

I spent a few hours there, relaxing and riding the slide.

I went back into Disneyland for dinner. I had this yummy pasta from the Carnation Plaza which is at the end of Main Street.

Tonight was all about watching the Main Street Electrical Parade.

The Blue Fairy was missed for sure. The music was the same as it was when the parade was a regular part of Disneyland.

 Minnie Mouse!

Butterflies and mushrooms from Alice in Wonderland.

 Alice!

There is the caterpillar, smoking his pipe.

A turtle wearing a sombrero.

 Suzy Mouse from Cinderella.

The coach and horseman from Cinderella.

And there is the princess herself.

 The Fairy Godmother.

And the prince, carrying the glass slipper.

 The jealous stepsisters.

 The clock has struck midnight!

 It's Captain Hook's pirate ship!

Mr Smee follows in his rowboat.

And Tinker Bell is standing atop magical flowers.

 Dopey!

This is a pretty scary-looking clown from Pinocchio.

And my favorite part of the parade, Elliott!
Pete is up there, waving to the people below.

And the grand finale, a tribute to America.

It's spectacular and beautiful.
